Welcome to La Femme Boudoir in the heart of Connecticut, where the art of boudoir photography creates a safe space for self exploration and expression

Before I ever picked up a camera, I was deeply curious about people — why we think, act, and see ourselves the way we do. That same curiosity now drives my work in boudoir photography. Basically, you can consider me a free-thinking rebel, particularly when it comes to staying inside the lines or the boxes that society and people throughout my life have tried to place around me. My journey into boudoir photography is a reflection of that.

For me, this work goes far beyond the images. I’m here to help women break out of the various boxes they find themselves defined by, find their voices, and celebrate themselves exactly as they are—my camera merely my tool.

Meet Christina Wesley

I’m drawn to beauty in all its forms — the physical, and also the emotional. I live for moments of clarity; when something inside you shifts, and the world around you becomes less cluttered and more understandable. I believe that every part of my life, the great moments and the heavy ones, have shaped who I am today, and I'm grateful for every obstacle that's been thrown my way.

I have two wildly energetic, curious kids who constantly remind me what it means to be fully alive. Being their mother has had a way of reshaping how I move through life—not just in the choices I make, but in the intention behind those choices. I’m not only building a life for myself here, but I feel like I'm also taking part in shaping the world they’ll grow up in, and I don’t take that lightly. I question what’s been handed down, I push against what doesn’t feel true, and I choose, again and again, to do things in a way that feels honest even if it doesn’t follow a traditional path.

For me, this work reaches far beyond the images. When a woman begins to feel more at home in herself, it ripples outward—to her relationships, her family, her children. I see it, I feel it, and it reshapes me too. The trust my clients place in me is something I carry with honor, and it’s changed the way I show up in my own life— I trust myself more deeply, feel more grounded in my choices, and commit to moving through the world in a way that feels fully aligned.

I’m always evolving, always refining who I am—not just for myself, but also as a quiet example to others of what courage to evolve looks like. In that, I strive to create space for others to do the same, in their own way, and on their own terms.

I have never felt more beautiful (yes, felt even more beautiful than being in my own WEDDING DRESS) in my entire life. Hair and makeup was done that morning (which I also cannot recommend Born and Bred Studio enough), and then the shoot started right after.
